Colts havent played anyone good. The Saints have beat everyone they have played by double digits, while the Colts squeaked by the Jags in week one 14-12 and beat the Dolphins by 4 while the Saints beat them by 12.
Saints > Colts > NFL
Saints > Colts > NFL

Best QB in the game
Manning may have a better career than Brees, but as of right now they're both playing on an elite level.

Top 5 Offense
How about #1 offense? That would be the Saints.

Top 10, if not Top 5 Defense
Also the Saints.

leadership & experience
These are intangibles; impossible to measure. What makes you think the Colts' leadership is any better than the Saints? We aren't playing with a first-year head coach, and a number of our key players were around for the 06 playoff run. Meanwhile, the Colts lost to an under-manned Chargers team in the playoffs last season. Why, exactly, is that good experience?
There's no way you can say the Colts are definitely better than the Saints, considering the Saints have destroyed every team they have played. Even today, when we trailed by 3 touchdowns, we won by double digits.

We'll see I might get proved wrong by the end of the season, and that's the beautiful thing about the NFL it's settled on the field.
Colts havent played anyone good.

the difference was the late TD by Porter, that is basically luck. Bot the Saints and Colts needed comebacks to beat Miami. The best team the Saints beat, the NYFG, lost at home today to Arz. It is not ridiculous to say either the Saints or Colts are the best team. The really good news is it doesn't matter.

Are you really saying Brees is better than Manning?
I'd argue that.
Both teams have an argument, but the Saints certainly have a better one. They've handled every team they've played, and won in many different ways. Looking at it as objectively as possible, no way I would say the Colts are playing better football than the Saints RIGHT NOW.
We all know what kind of suckage the Saints are capable of, even with a 6-0 record.
Just ask the 1991 team. They went on a four game losing streak at one point in the season and lost the first playoff game.

If you don't think Brees belongs in the discussion with Manning you are a moron. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees in no particular order, then its every other QB.

IMHO Peyton is definitely better than Brady or Brees

Maybe so, but Tom Brady's 3 Super Bowl rings say otherwise.

Yeah if i need one drive to win the Super Bowl i'll take Brady over Peyton any day.

That's why Dilfer's better than Marino

That tends to happen when your QB gets injured

Brees is playing great, but Manning has been better this season. He hasn't had any off games with 3 ints or low yardage like Brees has. Consistency.

Boy do I hate this argument.
"not their fault" and "beating everyone on their schedule" does not equal being as good as someone else who has done those same things against stiffer competition.

only good point you made.

Saints are good but more than that they are definitely lucky.
They dont play have to play on the road in bad weather late in the season. Even if Vikes end up as #1 seed in NFC they play in the dome.

Saints should get the #1 seed.

Ask the question this way:
Who would you pick first on your fantasy team: Brees or Manning?

Before you guys go and order your non-refundable airline and hotel packages, there's a few NFC teams that can play with the Saints. Mainly, Adrian Peterson's Vikings. The Giants will be a tough out in the playoffs as well, I don't care what the score was in week 6.
