I don't put much stock into the regular season either (as far as the series goes), having said that, the Thunders perimiter defense get's a huge boost, when Thabo comes back. Roberson has a chance to be good, but he's young, and get's into foul trouble. I think the Thunder has a great shot at going to the finals, if/when the get healthy, but i'm not going to lie, the Clippers scare the shite out of me.

There's no easy path for any of the West teams this year (per par), but yeah, I agree with you on Thabo's return helping OKC's perimeter D. Also, Reggie Jackson is basically stepping into the role Harden played against SA two years ago.

Huge homer statement here but I honestly don't see the Thunder losing to the Spurs this year if they meet. Westbrook is such a huge mismatch for a team like San Antonio with Leonard guarding Durant.
Having said that, I know it would still be 6-7 game series.

Yeah, I follow Tynan too. He writes for PtR occasionally and has good takes.
My thoughts as well. Whoever wins is going to have to play lights out in that series, and both OKC and SA are equipped to do that.

If these two teams do end up meeting, it will be in the conference finals, obviously. And it isn't a guarantee that both teams make it that far. Both Houston & LAC could pull the upset on either of these teams and this would all be a moot argument. The playoffs are a wild ride and there will be different, unknown circumstances that will have risen should these two teams meet in May

Yup, there are no gimmes in the West, as much as folks might be tempted to cast in the Spurs and Thunder in the same roles as the Pacers and Heat in the top-heavy lEast.
Going to be a very interesting playoffs. Now that the win streak's over (kinda glad about that, actually), I'm just ready for the second season to start

Watching the bench reaction after Timmy was pushed was hilarious. All the assistant coaches stand up and hold their arms out to make sure no one stands up to confront the Thunder but every single player on the Spurs bench just sat there and didn't budge haha

Spurs top the Grizz 112-92 for their 60th win of the season. Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobili each contributed 26 points. Tony Parker recorded 10 points but left the game early and did not return.
