What brought together OkieTiger and Spurs fans to bash the Heat in this thread?

Oh and if you trade KD and Lebron, the road would be the exact same. Facing the Grizzlies, Clippers, and Spurs in succession is about the hardest road I've ever seen. 10x harder than facing the Bobcats, Nets, and Pacers in succession.

So...facing an offensively challenged team (FG % wise), a defensively challenged team before facing the Spurs is 10xs harder?

Grizz and Clippers is a harder road to the conference Finals than Bobcats and Nets.

Surely you don't mean to suggest otherwise

Nah, facing a team whose best player is screwed with plantar fascitis and a team full of grandpa's is much harder

I don't think anyone is saying the Heats road to the finals will be harder.

One could argue the Spurs path wasn't that hard as well. Mavs are meh. Any balanced team could take out Portland bc they haven't learned how to play defense yet and OKC without Ibaka is huge bc they don't have a third scorer besides Reggie Jackson.. Kind of? And Ibaka is the main reason for their defensive success. (I'm not saying it's easier than the Heats. But definitely advantageous)

But just because it's easier doesn't mean they don't have a chance at the spurs.

D wade is much healthier these playoffs but the heats 3 point shooters aren't as reliable as last season.

Spurs vs Heat will be another epic series for sure.

F the Heat.

Great to see some chippy banter here this morning!

Incorrect. A 49 (should have been 50) win team is never meh.

Disagree.

Never said or tried to imply that. If anything it's an enviable position to be in for a team like MIA.

My mind is still battling last year's demons. The closer it comes the more the nerves rattle. Indy in the finals would be...better, haha
