What’s infuriating is Penn State got that type of officiating in every one of their matchups this season. Not that it mattered at Penn State because they blew the doors off us.

I always tell my Sparty friends they will go as far as the refs allow. Not that they get favoritism, but if the refs let you play physical, State is going to beat you. If the refs call it tight, State struggles.

I don’t care if they are bad or good, just be consistent with whatever side you are on. You can’t call ticky tack bullsht on one side while ignoring legitimate fouls on the other.

I definitely would agree with you in the past. But we are pretty soft this year on the perimeter defensively. To a point that it becomes infuriating.

Side note: if Illinois State wins the night game, the MVC will have an all Illinois semifinals with Illinois State, Loyola, SIU, and Bradley.

What happened to ISU this year? Almost made it last year - did they lose some people, have injuries or just sucked?

They lost all but 1 of their top players and also sucked. The whole MVC minus Loyola is just terrible, hell Missouri State was picked to win the conference and they were a total shite show.

Only one starter back, but they got better in the second half of the season. A lot of good juniors like Fayne, Yarbrough, Tinsley and Evans should return next year.

They've had slow starts all season, but this was one of their worst shooting efforts I've seen.
Some of it was UNI, but Loyola blew some lay-ins and wide open threes.
