The best time of the college basketball season is BACK. Conference tournaments got underway tonight with the first round of the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament. Many other low-major conference tournaments start in the next couple of days, as well.

As you might know, the Big Ten will be starting their tournament a week earlier than usual, in order to play it at Madison Square Garden. The Big East will once again hold their tournament in the Garden next week.

LINK to all of the tournament schedules. Just click on the conference in the link to see the bracket and schedule.

Here is a look at the Big Ten bracket. First two games are Wednesday.

Nebraska getting the 4 seed is epic. The second half of their Big Ten schedule was ridiculously easy.

I think Michigan could very well win that tournament.

Is this cheating by the big ten to get extra rest, or will the long layoff hurt them? I can’t tell.....

I mean they won't win the national championship like always, so what does it matter

No way the B1G championship is on CBSSN right? Surely that means CBS?

Lunardi still has Nebraska in the "First Four Out" category.

So basically, that Michigan/Nebraska game will determine whether or not Nebraska gets in the field. Otherwise, the Big Ten will probably be a 4-bid league. Ouch.

I didn't even realize until this past Sunday that the Big Ten Tournament was this week. Very strange to see a Power Conference a week earlier than the others

Most big conferences have moved from Sunday I thought?

Isn’t it just SEC and SWAC only on Sunday this year?
