don’t know if NIL by itself would’ve killed cfb, but NIL+instant eligibility transfers has for me. It’s the NFL without contracts. I watched a kid quit on his team in a NC game last year because he knew he was transferring. Eli Ricks shouldn’t be at Bama and I don’t care what free agents are doing while they wear crimson uniforms in Tuscaloosa. This is the last season for me and that’s only because I already have tickets, won’t be renewing.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I’m selling and giving away my tickets. The whole gameday experience was (emphasis) the best part of college football. Some fans may enjoy the new NIL and transfer rules, the it has been ruined for me.

This is the new normal. Most national media figures are totally for it. Colin Cowherd was advocating for it on his show yesterday.

Makes me sick. If you want to get compensated at age 18 join the military or get a job stocking shelves like the rest of us. Couldn’t enjoy pro sports post-Kap, college will be the same with NIL.

You do realize it’s a multi billion dollar industry and these kids getting the elite money are unique players? NIL coverage is making folks think that every school and player is getting seven figure paydays. Reality is it’s select institutions with amazing booster support and the top few hundred players in the country
