This isn't about Westbrook for me.

The NBA has slowly eradicated their thug image. It's about the brand that is blossoming right now while the NFL is floundering cause of Goodell and their idiot rules/penalties (they are still no. 1 and massive before people get offended). A chance for more people to enjoy the sport. Not spit in the current fans' faces. The reason a Pels player pulling this would turn me off is because it would surely offend the people who rely on idiots like Jeff Duncan for news.

I'm pretty disappointed in this. I had a lot of respect for Russ before seeing this.

I mean, why would anyone care about this?

It's nothing.

Why not just give the press what they want and be polite. It's part of your job.
it's his job to give the press what they want? It's not his job to answer the question the way the press wants. And also, if we're being honest, the answers he gave, the press wanted that wayyyyyyyy more than any cliche answers he could have given, so he actually did give them what they wanted...a story.

I hope you look back on that statement and can admit how ridiculous it is.

I get the whole argument about these guys not playing for the media. Sure, answering questions might be annoying and maybe they shouldn't have to be obligated to do it.

Idk, maybe there's a happy medium to this whole thing. But I lose respect for guys who do this. I won't root against him now and don't think he's a bad person or anything, but come the frick on.
I get that this is part of their job, but they're also human beings. It doesn't matter what we do for a living, but imagine after every shift, we had to field questions from the same 10-20 guys. We would all eventually dislike some of these guys and after doing it day after day, we would probably all have some sort of setback at some point.

Nope, this is a little shitty of him. Are you a dick to your co-workers?

I think he had a problem with a particular reporter in there. I remember reading about what happened last night and he said he likes nick, I think but hates the other guy

Get over yourself Westbrook. You make more money in a month than most of your supporters will see in their lifetime
Ahhhh, the old you make a ton of money so you should be a robot and not have feeling argument.

That's always a funny one.

The guy asking him questions apparently is a writer for the Oklahoman and has written several articles saying that Westbrook needs to go and that he's holding Durant and the Thunder back.
I'm sure we would all handle a similar situation like gentlemen and scholars.

1. These aren't his co-workers

2. To play along with your analogy that makes no sense, I'll ask you a question then gladly answer your question...did my co-workers supposedly write articles talking down upon me ability to do my job and saying my organization should get rid of me? That's kind of an important factor when asking me if I'd be a dick to my co-workers who aren't really my co-workers.

Again, they're humans, not robots.
