The message is on point.

I just tried to find a gif of the Bad Boys leaving the court early when they knew they were about to get knocked out of the playoff by the Bulls.

I Babe Ruth ran out every single grounder.
Hell, players used to smoke cigarettes and drink beer on the sidelines.

I also love that he brings up Lynch's crotch grab. Like I haven't been watching baseball players adjust themselves at the plate all my life.

Eh, MLB players made well above the national average in 1950, the stars were just as recognizable to the general population as they are now, and I doubt they had any less ego.

Guess Rush never caught the U 30 for 30.

Charles Barkley: What Happened to Discipline in Sports?
Al Michaels: What Happened to Discipline in Sports?
...you guys would be creaming all over yourselves. You want to talk about hypocrisy and skewed perceptions? The game(s) didn't just fall out the sky.

I'm not gonna lie, I had a big meeting and I crushed it, so I did the Sam Cassell big ball trot when I closed the door... and noticed that there were a bunch of people waiting to congratulate me on the speech.

I used to listen to Rush a good bit that doesn't mean I can't think his opinion is just flat out wrong here.

That Sam Cassell big balls dance is applicable in many situations

It'd be hilariously hypocritical if Barkley said it.

quote:That's because following your shot is bad basketball.
to add to rush's list: players following their shot. No one runs up to the basket to follow their shot, or not many. They all fade back and start transitioning to defense.
There are a lot of old "fundamentals" that you come to learn are stupid at the highest levels.

Kevin Love might average a triple double and people started following their shots.

People should be super serious when playing a game.

I can somewhat see that, except for that offensive rebounds will never be bad basketball
If the other team is just sending back people and burning you, then adjust, but I saw Anthony davis get an awesome offensive rebound and put it back while the rest of the team had already transitioned to the other end... that's just my opinion.
