Enjoy your second round exit this season at the hands of OKC...and that's IF you avoid CC in Rd 1.

Dragic, Whiteside, and Anderson to HOU

Now if Dragic would be coming also, that would be something I would like a lot. Dragic and Whiteside for Howard is a trade Morey should absolutely do.

Whiteside has personality issues, but if he can get past that somehow, he is one of the most talented big men in the association.

Would like to know who the coach is gonna be. A guy like Coach McHale would've been great for Whiteside. Really obvious they shouldn't have dumped him so quick but at the same time you gotta respect Mr Alexander for keeping everyone on a short leash there's a reason why HOU has only had 3 losing seasons since he's taken over.

Turning Dwight into cheaper and younger Whiteside and getting Dragic just seems like a helluva lot of value.

The roster would be real weird. Dragic is probably a sixth man.... I think? The current roster/locker room doesn't seem to be united anyway though, so why not try it?

Even if Whiteside leaves in FA, you clean a lot of space for 2017.

oh yea. lets get a known hot head and through him into the great locker room atmosphere that is the houston rockets. sounds great
This just sounds like an awful idea for the Rockets.

Like a lazy Harden and then Howard aren't bad enough as your best 2 players, you make it worse by subbing Whiteside in for Howard? Yikes.

Throw in Whiteside could be gone in free agency, seems like draft picks would suit HOU much better.

He has gameplay issues as well. The stuff he does(the reason his teammates hate him) isn't always the stuff that shows up in a boxscore, but he's highly overrated just based on stats.

Turnover machine, never passes, he tries to block every shot possible and leaves him and the team vulnerable a shite ton, among other things.

Well one theory that ATL would get Justice makes more sense. Then you have to ask why Miami would do it.

Trading for Whiteside is fascinating because he essentially offers no value. He isn't good or mature enough to really help a team the rest of the year and you don't have his bird rights to give you an advantage in resigning him.

Swapping Dwight for Hassan makes no sense for Houston, if Dragic is involved then I could see a reason.

Dwight is really well paid and thirty years old. The team doesn't seem to like each other anyway, so what's the downside?

Sure, so get draft picks. If they were a legit contender this season, maybe.

What's the point of getting Whiteside? A 1st round draft pick is better value than Whiteside at this point for HOU.

Where are these first round draft picks coming from?

The real catch is probably Dragic.

The Rockets wanted Dragic and tried to get him in free agency but he went to Miami.

Also I doubt there are many takers for Dwight at this point. 1st round picks are considered really valuable right now, so why give those up for a 30 year old center who isn't a leader and seems to be injured a decent bit now?

Maybe. But I don't think Dwight will get the type of offers he thinks and having his bird rights gives them options. Trading for Hassan does nothing unless you just want to see his problems up close for a few months.

I certainly don't disagree entirely, but Boston has enough assets that it may be worth the risk for a postseason run. Cleveland is 1 injury away from Boston having a legit shot to come out of the East. Not saying they'd be a favorite or whatever, but if you have a shot and as many assets as BOS, it may be worth giving up 1, if you can get away with that.
