Some of your posts:

quote:

Is it a legal assault? No

quote:

Under the circumstances of the situation a good lawyer could easily argue great bodily injury or death is highly unlikely. Deadly weapon doesn't apply to this scenario.

It's clearly a harder argument to say a football helmet is a deadly weapon just from a common sense perspective.

And the best one:

quote:

in the manner that Garrett used the helmet it wouldn't qualify.

This is all from a 2 page stretch. I don’t know if I’ve ever owned someone this badly in any argument, ever.

He's too stupid to insult. Trying to discuss criminal law with a grown man saying "lmfaooooo" on a message board is clearly a waste of time

It’s not really a discussion. It’s an intellectual massacre by multiple posters.

Well that situation did turn out to be life threatening. A helmet to the unprotected head swung by an NFL defensive lineman is definitely life threatening.

You said it was "my entire argument" and proceeded to cherry pick posts to push your narrative. Now that's some half-decent trolling. Good job.

If you watch the video real time (not selective still images), no reasonable person can come to the conclusion that Mason Rudolph was responsible for this.

Myles took down Rudolph late which was dirty (albeit not dangerous). He then held Rudolph down which was dirty (albeit not dangerous). Rudolph reacted in a typical "football fight" type of way, but nothing out of line. Myles reacted to the "football fight" in an absurdly over the top, and very dangerous way.

Myles deserves to be suspended for all of 2019. It's a good decision. Rudolph didn't deserve to be suspended. It's a good decision. The NFL punishing Pouncey was a bad decision. Kicking someone with a helmet on isn't dangerous and it was a reasonable response to the attack.

grandpa once told me, “never ever start a fight but IF you are in a fight end it as quickly as possible by all GD means at your disposal”.
Myles didn’t start it, was being attacked by multiple people, he reacted, he wasn’t in a GD debate...

Except he did.

Because he was trying to kill (not literally, at least I don't think so) their quarterback.

If Mason Rudolph doesn't attempt to take Myles' helmet off would it have escalated to the point it did? Highly unlikely.

how did Myles start it? he made a clean play (no flag by refs) and QB didn’t like it, QB grabbed Myles facemask and then attempted to kick Myles in the groin...

attempting to remove someone's helmet is out of line and I wouldn't be surprised if doing so becomes an automatic 1 or 2 game suspension starting next year.
