Ron Meyer was smooth as shite. Pony Excess is my favorite 30 for 30. RIP

Dude did some shady stuff with that first recruiting class, then when they got popped said “We’ve run....basically an honest program. We’ve found that we’ve been shoddy in some bookeeping areas, we’ll have to clean that up.”

They were just keeping up with the rest of the conference and got better at it than the rest.

Where else does a Governor get involved? Only SMU.

Who else can get a rival to pay for the All American's Firebird? Only SMU

What other school would cover up 5 alleged murders? SMU, but Baylor tried.

That whole film is fantastic. The interview with Dale Hansen made everyone look like jabronies, especially ole Henry Lee Parker

All those morons had to say yea we mailed him something. Insurance form or something cause they had no proof it was money. They mailed it using the university envelope lol

They were doing nothing different than the rest of the schools, except they did the one thing you should not have done, embarrass the Whorns at home.

That's putting it mildly. As spectacular as SMU's rise was, the collapse was unlike anything we've ever seen in college football..

That Pony Excess and 30/30 called Broke are my two favorites. It's amazing what SMU and The U got away with for so long.

My favorite was the Doak Walker scholarship that he said only gave one once a lifetime for extra special recruits. Said he gave 30 of them one year.
