When Brady is first team all pro 7 times, league MVP 5 times, takes two dofferent franchises and four shitty head coaches to the super bowl then maybe he belongs on the same sentence as the fingus from Peyton Mannings harshest diarrhea spell, but until them, Bama Patriots bamdwagon trash can suck their own GOATS

Pretty badass

Roger the Dodger started eight seasons for the Cowboys (1971 and 1973-1979). In these eight seasons, he had a combined passer rating of 85.3. The NFL average passer rating during those exact same eight seasons was 62.3. Roger Staubach was indexing at 137 versus the NFL average, or in other words, he was 37% better than the average of all other quarterbacks playing at the same time.

In 1971 Roger Staubach notched a season passer rating of 104.8 when the NFL average for qualified passers was 62.2. In percent, Staubach was 68% better than the league average, the best value achieved by any quarterback in the Super Bowl era.

You can't compare eras.

You can only compare against contempories under the same rules.

QB rating has never been as high as it is now. But Brady has a lot company. The top 18 QB ratings out of 20 in history all came from the last 20 years.

Brady has proved it on the field....but using QB ratings means little....if Brady maintains 134 while the rest of the league is 80....then we can talk.

For QBs who out surpased their peers after 1978...

1. Steve Young
2. Joe Montana
3. Peyton Manning
4. Dan Fouts
5. Tom Brady
6. Dan Marino

2 different franchises

Why is this something to brag about? The only reason he left the colts is because of the Neck injury. Would his 2nd super bowl not be as impressive if it came with the colts? And it's not as if he dragged a shitty franchise to the promise land, he got to pick the most super bowl ready team that he wanted

It's a nice little bit of trivia but your dramatisizing how big of a deal it is

If anything it would be much more impressive if he won another title in Indy given how god awfully disfunctional their front office is and has been for years.

4 Super Bowl championships and 6 Super Bowl appearances. He's also Top 5 in just about every passing category that matters. He has the rings and the stats to back those rings up. So what if he only has 2 NFL MVP awards? An award given out by the media doesn't mean shite. Tennessee fans can relate (Charles Woodson over Peyton Manning in 1997).

exactly, give Brady a dome 90% of his career and 1st round talent around him and he'd shite on Peyton's numbers.
Does he also get Jim Mora, One and Dungy, and Jim Caldwell?

I remember Odell Beckham swapping with Jarvis Landry after a game, looked for a picture and apparently Beckham does a lot of jersey trading

Even a request from tGOAT himself
