HOU would beat OKC. SAS is 50/50. So OKC.

The only reason you all might even sniff the playoffs is because you all have the easiest last 4 games in all of the NBA. You aren't beating either team in a series and if Houston does make it you all we be swept by GSW.

You can include today in that easy schedule. OKC has 3rd seed locked up and couldn't give two shits about the final games.

Russ and KD had 14 turnovers combined today

Well if HOU had played those scrubs teams earlier in the season they'd be sitting at 5 seed today w 4 more wins. HOU jumps DAL and MEM no doubt in my mind unless OKC and GSW both sit all their starters. Then just Jump Utah and get the dream matchup at 6 v OKC.

LAC, GSW, SAS all play at least a semblance of D on harden. He averages like 35 on this current version of OKC. Give me the team that can't slow harden down even an iota over everyone else.

5th: Portland 41-36 (more than likely 41-37 after this)
6th: Memphis 41-36
7th: Dallas 39-38
8th: Utah 39-38
9th: Houston 38-39

Portland's last 4: Sacramento, OKC, Minnesota, Denver

Memphis:'s last 5: Chicago, Dallas, GSx2, LAC

Dallas' last 5: Houston, Memphis, LAC, Utah, SA

Utah's last 5: SAS, LAC, Denver, Dallas, LAL

Houston's last 5: Dallas, Phx, LAL, Minny, Sacramento

Definitely going to be interesting. If Houston doesn't go 4-1, they don't deserve to make it. They should only realistically lose to Dallas and that is pushing it.

Portland goes 3-1, secures 5 seed.

Memphis goes 2-3 secures playoff spot

Dallas goes 3-2 secures playoff spot

Utah goes 3-2 secures playoff spot

Houston goes 3-2 and gets left out

Worst case scenario.. Because Boom would say they got shanghai'd and are still be able to beat OKC.

I legitimately see them losing to Dallas and then one more because they aren't consistent enough to go on a 4 game win streak.

Dude if Memphis wins one they will be lucky. The team they put out there would be the worst team in the west. They have 3 at most guys who should be in an NBA rotation and they are Barnes Randolph Allen ie garbage.

shocking their longest win streak of the season was 5 games, preceded by 4 loss streak.

they remind me of the pelicans from last year with alternating wins/losses, their last 6 (3-3, back and forth).

Yeah but that is earlier in the season. If the games are around the beginning then rust is real and the Rockets would lose. If it is March, we'll it isn't playoffs so the Rockets aren't winning then either. They'd easily lose those 5 earlier in the season at any point.

?? The reason the last 4 games for Houston are against sub-par teams is that they have already played the tough teams that the Mavs and Jazz still have to play.

It's not like Houston is getting a break the last 4 games.

Rockets already beat the Thunder this year. They are 2-2 against them.

And the two losses they had against them were by 8 points and 4 points.

You're acting like the Thunder have been blowing them off the court and the only reason they beat them was because we're nearing the end of the season and they just didn't try.

I don't care the reasoning behind it because it doesn't change the fact that you all have the easiest last 4 games and you still have to WIN them. The NBA doesn't know who is going to be a playoff team before issuing schedules.

I know, because they are still fighting to make the playoffs.
