I'm not. Would actually enjoy seeing LA flame out in the WCF.

As I said in another thread. I think the Rockets only chance is to win two games in Los Angeles. The Lakers are the best road team in the NBA, took both games in Houston, took two in New Orleans, one in Cleveland and one in Boston. I can't see the Lakers losing three road games in Houston, especially after winning a series in what is known as a very difficult game to play on the road in Utah. Just taking a step back and looking at the stats, Houston needs two road wins at the very least.

I agree. I think houston will have to win 2 at staples. The lakers are too good and too experienced for Houston to expect to win 3 at home. They'll have to play their arse off to win any game whether they are at staples or toyota. And roughneck, GET RED!!!!!!

we're really going to miss tracy this series. i think we would beat the cavs, magic, nuggets, mavs, and boston in a seven series, but la has the best closer in the game and we are lacking a closer. we are really going to have to execute to make it a series and upset the lakers. they have no weaknesses.

Cashed my Rockets vs Port series plays, and wanted to let it ride on LA vs Hou, until I saw the whopping LA -1100 price tag..

Hou can't win 4 of 7 vs LA without Kobe getting hurt..

Port was a mere consistent third option away from taking H-Town to the wire..

Roy got to the rim far too consistently to think Kobe will not do the same..Artest doesn't want any..remember that TNT game in H-Town?

Rockets an awkward match-up for any team..but..LA wins 4-1 or 4-2.

My apologies for the misstep, oh great czar of grammar. I can only hope the bumping of this thread in a couple of weeks will repay such a horrendous debt.

Bump all you want. Will only make the victory sweeter in the end. No way the Rockets win this series. Look for a healthier Kobe to be ready to go in game two. I know he had 32 points but in this years playoffs Kobe is the one that gets everybody going in the first half. Next game Kobe will have a near triple double and the series will go back to Houston tied 1-1.

I would not say it was all defense......the Lakers missed alot of wide open 3 pointers tonight. 2-18 is way below what they usually get. Can't remember the last time Kobe, Fisher and Ariza combined to go 1-15 from the 3 point line.

the rockets had good defense in the regular season, but lakers still won em all.

i remember those guys having wiiiide open looks. just one of those nights.

and houston played well. not their best, but they played a solid B game, while LA played a C-
