You hornets fans are silly. You just lost to the best defensive team and a top 3 seed in the western conference and you act like the sky is falling. Most knowledgable nba fans new the hornets were not contenders this year. Anybody who did is a homer. Houston is the better team, it's obvious to anybody who has watched both teams play more than a few times this year.

All of what you say is true, but I think everyone knows the Hornets can play better. Not that they are better than the top 4 teams in the West, but they should be playing better.

I still think the Spurs got that impregnable defense FWIW.

Houstons def efficiency is 4th in the nba and 1st in the west per NBA.com, check the most recent power rankings.

I was happy we finally got Deke some PT tonight. He and Yao in the line up together is scary for opposing offenses.

Deke will always be able to come in and have a huge impact on the defensive end. His rejection on jujus dunk attempt was the same deke that the nba has seen for the last 20 years.

yeah ...we'll see if you get the top 3 seed at the end there buddy....right now doesn't mean shite. H-town has by far the hardest schedule left of the western conference playoff teams

That game was truly brutal to watch, i know we don't have a very talented roster but they could at least bring some intensity. Houston doesn't have a great team either but they play as a team and with a lot of effort.

I didn't see all of it , just the end. I was going to N.O. to watch this game and I'm glad I didn't. Our spacing is really fricked up right now without Peja , but a quick observation of the stat sheet reveals and interesting tid-bit. We were called for quite a bit more fouls...how did that happen??? I can't believe the gay spaceships didn't even have Yao playing...WTF??? CP3 showed up to play and no one else again huh?? Just like Chicago.........

I was pissed that the Hornets refused to drive to the basket even when their shots were not falling. Ball movement was terrible as usual, and surprise, surprise they score 84.

It was kind of like the Hawks game, CP couldn't do it all himself, the Rockets got in the bonus and got fouled on almost every possession it seemed and when they weren't it was a layup. DX offensive slump continues.

Baba , NIH ....we are a jump shooting team and when you shoot less than 40% as a team living off of jumpers then losses like this can occur. I suspect credit should go to the gay spaceships for their perimeter D but again , without Peja the floor isn't spaced well for CP3 to drive the lanes....still lots more ball to go and we have 4 ducks in a row. Western conference NBA is way more exciting to me than NCAA right now

Good game for the Rockets after the tough loss to the Spurs on Saturday...nice to see Deke get some action (more minutes this game than all season so far)

Lol, nice job nitpciking my post. Houston is the 3rd seed now, and can play with anybody, anywhere, any night. Whether or not they end up the 3 seed is irrelevant to the game tonight, they beat the Hornets on the road tonight in a game the :Hornets had to have. I've seen the hornets play several times this year, and it's plain to see, regardless of their record, that the team is not as good as they were last year and barring a 1st rd matchup with dallas will be out in the 1st rd.

Dont know about that at all. They could beat Dallas yes, I believe they could beat Denver as well, and could hang with the Rockets as well.

The only matchups I would dread seeing the Hornets in are against the Lakers, then Jazz, then Spurs.
