Thank the lord. Dude was awful, and really hated LSU for some reason.

He hated LSU so much that he seemed to go out of his way to slobber all over Bama. Frickin douche

I will always have respect for him for one reason.

Lebatard's radio show was playing back when the Trayvon Martin thing was red hot. Dan had this former basketball player who was maybe the first NBA gay guy to come out or something and studied at some prestigious university like Oxford (might not be 100% accurate). Anyway, this guy is toeing the emotional argument line defending Trayvon at all costs when everything was pretty much heresay at the time. After his segment is done and Dan is done blowing him, Robert Smith calls in unscheduled and completely trashes the guy's argument. Dan had no rebuttal, and that is saying something about that blowhard.

I thought he was an idiot...I agree about his Lsu bias...and I know espn doesn't hate LSU...
He adds nothing with his analysis and he is wrong more often than not...

I remember after the crazy ending tenn game when we got that second chance because of the penalty...he refused to accept that LSU won....kept repeating it over and over that we really didn't win...very unprofessional about it...
Glad he is gone and I'd be surprised if someone else picked him up

Robert Smith fricking hates LSU. Its been going on for years and its very obvious. There have been posters from other fan bases comment on it here and agree.

I think he hates us because of the arse raping in the 07 title game

Just like Pollack because of the 2 losses that UGA suffered in 2003... I think the 1st loss hurt him more than the arse kicking they got in the SECCG.......

Jesse Palmer tends to get a. Decent amount of praise.

From whom? Notecard Palmer is awful. He reads the same exact info for every game he calls for a team, regardless of what they are doing that season.

Plus for him to have played both college and professional football he offer little to no insight into the game and is wrong about 75% of the calls he makes.
