Damn. Those were some fun 40 minutes of hell teams. Well, doubt Oli was able to give 40 minutes, but that was such a fun group to watch.

Despite the weight issues Big O was an extremely skilled player. One of the best big man passers you’ll ever see, his outlet passes for the 40 minutes of hell teams were a thing of beauty.

Very sad.
All I can think of about him is my Arkansas buddies would claim in college that he could and would destroy Shaq and was a much better player.

Very light feet for a guy with that build. He was a key member of those elite squads. Obligatory Scottie Thurman mention. Watched him in HS and followed him throughout after I moved away. And who could forget the Dillard kid raining threes from Steph territory before it was the thing to do. Great squads those were.

They won 4 SWC regular season titles and 3 conference tournament titles while he was there. That’s pretty good.
