Utter embarrassing performance, led mostly by the coaching staff with complete lack of discipline with major penalties (3 or more unsportsmanlike conduct) and shitty offensive play calling. Atrocious. The team has legit talent even after NIL coupled with now free agency ravaged us, but the coaching has been garbage.

Back to the Cajuns; the team was gutted when Napier left and Desormeaux was never a USL man, those days long predated him when he played for UL. Most have no sense or patience how to build anything. The Cajuns will be fine. Look at Arizona State, they got beat by Eastern Michigan who the Cajuns beat 48-20 last week. College football is crazy, especially these days.
It could be worse, we could be sitting in LA Tech’s shoes.
Alas, the 15 game win streak ends as does likely any hope of a third straight ranked season. Just too many holes on this team. The biggest test for Desormeaux will come down to recruiting and successfully playing the transfer portal. That will determine his ultimate success or failure.
You’re going to get shite on for talking down Tech but you’re pretty spot on.

We just got whipped and embarrassed by Rice (the game was not even as close as the blowout score), and LA Tech has blown us out the last two meetings.
While I certainly have animosity towards Tech for past crap by their administration and coaches (even Olympic sport coaches), any Cajuns fan talking down to them at this point is either a moron or a certified troll.

Tech started season with Mizzou, destroyed a bad SFA team & got unsurprisingly spanked by Clemson last night. Tech was lucky enough to snag Sonny Cumbie from Texas Tech. We have new HC, new QB, new system.
