kobe was easily the best laker throughout the series with San Antonio and was at least a wash with shaq throughout the kings series and his game 4 of that series is an all time great individual performance in the history of the sport of basketball

Yeah, Shaq averaged 30 and 15 to Kobe's 29, 7 and 6. Both very good, but Shaq also had to face Robinson/Duncan and Mutumbo, so two really high level defensive center teams, and still dominated.
