West Virginia, Georgia, and USC would have all smoked OSU that year. They couldn't handle Illinois' spread offense so WVU would have absolutely gutted that defense.

It was more than just one drive. They were shutout for 56 minutes in a monsoon and then had two TD drives in the final 4 minutes to win it. Ryan's winning TD pass was an amazing, amazing play.

What a season. USF got up to No. 2 in the polls. Matt Grothe led the Bulls to wins over Aub and West Virginia.
