We won’t ever win it all with BK, but we just had a chance to win the game on the road against the #3 team in the country wtf else do you need from them? This is a very average ND team as well with lots of questions on the oline and a completely new defense. We may go 11-1 because our “tough” teams decided to suck this year (Stanford, USC, and Michigan), but if we slip up and go 9-3 I wouldn’t be shocked.

The measuring stick for success lately is really just seeing how close you can keep up with Bama and Clemson in the postseason. Ohio State's the only team to have beaten either of them. UGA is the next closest having taken Bama to OT, but they still lost. Everyone else has gotten trounced for the most part.

Kelly's a good coach and ND is a damn good team.

Alabama made the CFP committee look silly when they got sodomized but Clemson, right?

You conveniently left out they beat a #4 (at the time) Georgia and OU. Yeah they got smoked by Clemson but ND's signature win was what? 9-4 Stanford?

They played Clemson closer than Bama did last year.

OK. They still don't have any big wins.

More consistent than anyone in the SEC not named Bama? A few years ago they went 4 and fricking 8

#74 choked. Multiple false starts, at least one hold and a hands to the face. He arguably cost them the game.

This reminds me of the LSU/UGA game last year. They had t played anyone of significance and came down to BR to get blasted by a good but not great Tigers team.

Then, they went on to win the East and nearly knock off a Bama team LSU couldn’t score a point on at home.

This year, they just survived that game unlike last year.

The affiliation with the ACC makes no sense. I still can't believe that the B1G got Rutgers and Maryland instead of ND. They get 10x more eyeballs than those two schools combined. Historic rivalries, ratings, etc. Makes no sense for them not to be in the B1G.

Kirby has coached like he’s scared of his own shadow.

Kirby is overrated as a game coach.

The play calling when they had a chance to put it away was horrible (I get that he’s not calling them, but it’s still his plan).

They have that massive o line with Swift starting to hash them and he’s running a jet sweep that has consistently lost yards all game long.

He calls timeout when ND receivers are completely out of gas.

I’m even convinced his theatrics and screaming at the defense before the bell is snapped is a distraction to them. Are they that ill prepared that he has to coach like a parent of a u-8 soccer team?
