Wonder if Jackie Bradley jr and Ranaudo are involved. They were pulled from the lineup tonight in the minors.

No way JBJ or Renaudo are involved IMO. Sox wouldn't give up 2 top 10 prospects and take on his whole salary.
Not great, but solid move IMO. Got a quality piece for what everyone knew was a stop gap at SS. Adds a nice arm AND makes way for a Xander call up or Young trade.

No.
Red Sox dealt Iglesias to the Tigers so they'll have a capable SS when Peralta gets suspended.
White Sox get Avisail Garcia and a couple of other low-level prospects.

Jhonny Peralta is about to get suspended. Iglesias is a pretty solid replacement.

I agree. But the Tigers could afford to give up Garcia. They are high on their top prospect Castellanos, who also plays corner outfield. Detroit can also afford dropping offense for defense and with miggy's lingering hip flexor injury, Iggy can fill in for him if needed.

Yeah I understand that. Just think Garcia is more valuable than that. Still is a good trade for them.

I worked at Hank Aaron Stadium when I was in HS...usually slumming it out in the parking lot. Peavy was the only player that would stop and chat with us on his way into the ballpark. Always been a fan.
