for an 8 person league your hitting sucks. Solid starters though.

youk is very valuable because he can play 1b and 3b Dunn can play 1b and OF. I love that in fantasy players. we only have 2 bench spots to make it harder so that kind of dictated my draft as well.

You have A LOT of age hitting though. And having a short bench will severely handicap you. Chipper is guaranteed to break down at least once. Bengie Molina, Youkilis, Magglio and Ortiz are all likely to miss extended time. I would guarantee 2 of those four go on the DL at some point.

But having Han Ram almost makes up for anything you might have done wrong. You take him 1st overall?

IF Chipper plays a ton, Ortiz returns to form, and Ludwick repeats last years numbers, you have a solid team. Youk was quietly one of the top fantasy players last year and shouldnt drop off too much.

You better hope that Hanley stays healthy and is given a lot of green lights, because you arent going to get many steals out of that group.

A lot of really BIG "IFs" in that statement. But I will agree.

Ortiz is done IMO, he's been declining the past few years and last year had the same type of wrist injury that Nomar had that caused him to no longer be an elite hitter

you do have great pitching, but as far as hitters...I only see youkilis and hanley

Here's what I got

I have two teams

first team is 12 team league

C Geovany Soto
1B Ryan Howard
2B Mark DeRosa
3B Ryan Zimmerman
SS Ryan Theriot
OF Josh Hamilton, Nick Markakis, Shane Victorino, Pat Burrell, Nick Swisher
Bn Mike Aviles, Yadier Molina
P Cole Hamels, AJ Burnett, David Price, Josh Johnson, Chris Carpenter, Brian Wilson, Max Scherzer, Joel Hanrahan

Second team is also 12 team league

C Russell Martin
1B Carlos Delgado
2B Chase Utley
3B Mark DeRosa
SS Ryan Theriot
OF Josh Hamilton, Pat Burrell, Cameron Maybin
Util Brian McCann
Bn Felipe Lopez, Carlos Guillen, Troy Glaus
P Roy Oswalt, AJ Burnett, Scott Kazmir, Jon Lester, David Price, Chris Volstad, George Sherrill, Max Scherzer, Kerry Wood

I think I have a pretty good chance in both leagues

Molina - gets RBI, but not many runs and never walks
Youk - can he repeat last years performance?
Hanley - $
Chipper - $ when healthy (already hurting)
ordonez - above avg.
Dunn - underrated, pencil in 40 bombs
Ludwick - batting average likely to go down
Ortiz - wasn't hitting even before injury last year
Sabathia - AL east tough to pitch in
Halladay - $
Hamels - totaled over 260 innings last year (inc. post season)
Volquez - underrated, will be $
Bedard - last years stats were right at his career average before 2007.

An 8 team league and you only use ONE middle infielder?

That's absurd.
