He's fricking putrid, and I'm almost to the point of apathy until he's fired. He has zero idea how to run a bullpen, or a team in major media market apparently.

Yea, terrible hire. Ranger fans were kinda baffled at the hire.

Agree with most of what you said, but he was successful in NY for a good bit. Granted, not with the douchebag Yanks.

Oh well, the Sox will get hot at some point, we just have too much hitting not to, they'll make a believer out of me again, but then it will all come crashing down.

I've seen this script before, and unlike Arrested Development, I don't want it to renewed.

Offense only carries you so far. At least there's Lester, but no bullpen is going to kill Boston. I think they will miss the playoffs, along with the Rays being borderline as well.

Yep. I can agree with that. I'm glad I didn't get too excited for this year.

Ron puzzles me so much, but it works all the time.

pitch hit for murph and it works. But he doesn't pitch hit for Synder.

I questioned the pinch hit for Murph, but I get Ron's logic. Gentry's speed lessened the chance of the double play.

Don't like their offense. Barring a miraculous collapse by Boston last year, the Rays miss the playoffs by almost 6 games. And I think they aren't nearly as good this year. It will be the Angels and some random team for the WC spots.

Nah, I believed that before the season. I did think Boston would squeak in, but after seeing them this year....no. But these have been my beliefs since before the season.

(on behalf of g/f who hates seeing him lead off a base for this very reason)
