I'm a Tulane fan, was just at a Tulane party and people got pissed that I went to the LSU game instead of the Tulane game yesterday. I told them when we start signing real D1 players I may go back but until then I'll go up river and watch real talent play. I've been going to Tulane and LSU games since the 60's and I refuse to spend any more money watching Tulane football......now I still will be at all the baseball games but that's it.

I just think you would have heard or read on this board if Tulane had dropped their football program. This isnt a Tulane board, but it would have been pretty big news on here.

Tulane's attendance is just so sad - I really feel bad for them. I bet even ULM even draws more folks to their home games that aren't in Little Rock.

Yes you should be able to compete in Conference USA!
Not going to recruit D-1 kids without the HC on the road sometime.
Understand the Tulane athletic budget - their would be a new HC this year except for the buy-out clause. Will bet the one year extension has no buy-out.
Good news - a new head coach.
Bad news - start over yet one more time.
Can't keep playing in an empty superdome. Only hope for the program is an on-campus stadium.
