Few have a problem with him getting paid, it was the other players they over paid, that people had problems with

Not sure if you know this, but NFL teams do not care about run defense. 7 of the worst 9 Run defenses made the playoffs last year. More teams made the playoffs that finished 16-32 than 1-15 in run defense.
I’m using Y/A as my measure of run defense.
ETA: I shouldn’t say they “don’t care” but it’s the last thing they’re trying to accomplish.

They’re in win now mode but if they don’t win shite in 3 years they’ll have to blow it up with all those contracts and Goff still on a rookie deal

Me, u and maybe 2 other guys were saying “don’t pay him” while everyone else just blindly said pay him whatever he wants.
It was clear that he wanted to be above $20mm, now it’s funny to hear people say they’ll regret it.
