Question about attending UFC weigh-in events....

Has anyone here ever attended an actual UFC weigh-in event the day before the fights? I'll be attending the UFC Fight Night fights in Austin this Sunday, but I would like to go to the weigh-ins on Saturday evening. Are the weigh-ins free to attend, are the included in the cost of my original ticket, or do they cost a separate admission? Thanks in advance.

For something like that it should be free. Sometimes they’ll charge like $10 if it’s a big fight.

Thanks for the reply. Now I just need to find out if the weigh-ins will be taking place at the same arena. I called the arena and they know nothing about the weigh-ins.

UFC is trashy
Attending a UFC weigh in trashy and sad.

Expect it to go as smoothly as a WWF contract signing

I am just curious, why? Seems like there are a lot of other things to do on a Saturday night in Austin than watching men in skivvies weigh themselves.

I could see going to a Conor McGregor one or something like that just to feel the energy but not a regular fight night.
I've been to one big UFC card but didn't do the weigh in.

It would never occur to me to be even remotely interested in attending a weigh-in

I have attended, they are usually free, with the up close seats reserved for VIP, everything else first come first serve.

Not shocked to see other people worried about what another baw does with his spare time.

I guess we just want to attend the event in its entirety. I know this Fight Night event isn't a huge card, or even a PPV for that matter, but it's the closest the UFC has come to my vicinity in a while, so I bought tickets. I attended UFC 192: Cormier vs Gustafsson in Oct 2015, but we didn't get into town until the day of the fights, so we didn't get to see the weigh-ins.

All the weigh-ins I have been to in Vegas have been free and fun. Get there about an hour early for a good spot.

You may already know this but the fighters weigh in the morning of the "weigh in" now. So if you attend, all you really get to see is two guys staring off.

lol @ people acting like they weigh in is a full day affair. can easily be there and gone in less than an hour, it might be kinda cool if u get a chance to talk to some fighters

I’ve only been to one but it was free to get in.
