re: Question: Why is Blake Griffen in the "Rising Stars" Game?

Well no PG in the NBA is averaging 20/10, much less with under 4 TO. Only Nash is in double digit assists. 4 turnovers a game isn't really a big deal for a PG. I'd say at 21, Wall's numbers are exceptional. He's a way better player than Griffin

I never said he wasn't great, I'm just saying EXCEPTIONAL numbers, as the other poster used that word, are 20/10 and under 4 TO
His numbers are exceptional. I stand by that.

42% FG and 4.2 TO
If he improved those to around 45% and 3.5 then you could make a small case, but exceptional is a powerful word....much better than the likes of great, wonderful, and excellent.

He's not a top 8 pg IMO. One day he will which fits the "rising star"
I don't hardcore follow NBA so I'm not gonna argue BC I'm not a huge follower
My forte is CFB and NCAA mens ball

Have you seen his team? He probably has to take even more shots than he would even like.

Yeah I'm sure he's hating shooting the ball so much

Please explain why. When has he shown he doesn't eat to just jack it up?

Well for starters you misspelled Blake's last name.
Secondly, when you play on a shitty team, you have to take more shots when you are the star player. If he had Kobe or Dirk on his team, Wall would take less shots. Wall is a slasher. While playing with the Wizards, he is having to settle for more jump shots.
Sure he could improve his jump shot, but that's not his game right now.

Who gives a shite how his name is spelled. Nothing to do with wall
Yeah s rose had that same problem so he practiced his arse off and become a good outside shooter so I don't feel sorry for him.
Don't understand how me saying he likes to jack it up makes me dumb. Russell Westbrook has KD and he still jacks it up. If wall had dirk or someone like that hed still think he's the best player on the team and take a bunch of shots that's just the way he his

I'm not mad at all. I'm giving a legit perspective an you just blindly loving on the dude after stats are shown
Cp3 had some terrible teams and he still did what a true pg should do. He made tyson chandler an all star and there are high school players with better post moves then him

Wall is not the same type of PG as CP3. Horrible comparison.

If we're going to judge a PG purely based on turnovers, then Lin must be the worst PG in the league.

Well you know what they say about Asian point guards...

You just tried to make the argument that if he better players he'd pass more. Aka being more of a true PG. which would make him more comparable to Paul
