re: Probably the most inexcusable Ohio State loss in my life

they blew a 38-24 4th quarter lead by sitting on the ball and when they went down 42-41, they marched down the field with plenty of time, sat on the ball to play for a long field goal.

We were the more physical team and bullied the hell out of their soft arse team in the second half and Stetson “iceman” Bennet made two incredible clutch plays whereas OSU choked like dogs
What a clueless post.
Georgia only won that game through a trio of breaks their way:
1) Latham Ransom tripping in coverage giving a long TD
2) Marv’s concussion that apparently happened without any forceable contact to the head
3) one of the worst FG kicks I’ve ever seen in my life
But yeah, Georgia was so much more physical.

Actually you said your rightful spot

These SEC schools dominate, even when they lose. It should be no surprise they would consider a 2 TD come from behind fourth quarter win “bullying”

I agree LSU has a good secondary, and overall a good defense that is solid at all three levels.
I’d put yall close behind the three teams I mentioned in secondary rankings. If you just go off projected NFL talent both UGA and Alabama each have a projected 1st round safety each and 1st round corner each in next years draft.
I’m very bullish on LSU.
If you notice in one of my earlier posts I said if the AP did honest rankings the top three would be 1. UGA 2. Miami 3. LSU

Harrison shouldn’t have been soft enough to get destroyed by Bullard in the end zone and drop the TD pass.
He has been pretty mid at best in the nfl so not a shock in retrospect though. Says a lot the Cardinals still haven’t chosen to pick up his 5th year option

Everyone seems to be forgetting about Indiana. Don't sleep on them

Great comparison actually. Day is the modern day Les Miles, but much like likable and entertaining.
The ability to completely waste a roster full of future NFL players is pretty much identical.

This is too funny.
I’m busy reading the OSU boards and X right now.
This meltdown might be worse than some of the L’s to Michigan.
Oh, and you guys got a lot of time (not 1 second) added back on the clock because one of your defenders lost their helmet. You could have just let Texas score, you did it for Michigan a few years ago.

Again, you're saying some really silly shite. What does the NFL have to do with how he performed in college? How's Stetson Bennett doing in the pros? Or Ringo? Or Kenny McIntosh?

I’m not sleeping on them really I just did a top 3.
If I had to go further in my personal opinion 4. Would be Texas 5. Would he Indiana I would have ND at 6 simply because I think they’re actually very good but their schedule is literal embarrassment and imo if they lose a single game other than Miami should be out of the playoffs. I’d drop OSU to 7 then there’s a log jam at 8-13ish where it’s all pretty subjective but imo Ole Miss would be 8 and the bottom end at 13 I would have your squad USC

Ringo had a short amount of time where he had some run but he was never actually a very good man coverage corner even though he happened to get the pick 6 to win the national championship. He also was on the eagles who were super deep at CB. He is still a depth corner on an nfl roster.
Stetson is the backup QB for the odds on super bowl favorites and plays behind last years NFL MVP. It isn’t a shock to anyone he doesn’t play
McIntosh was drafted by the Seahawks but I’m sure if he ever actually got a single NFL carry.
Why not mention some of the other guys on that team like Brock Bowers who has had injuries but had one of the best rookie TE seasons in NFL history, Ladd McHonkey one of the top 30 WR in the NFL, or James Cook who has been a top 10 RB in the league since he was drafted?
Or Jalen Carter who is one of the best interior DL in the league and was a major factor in winning the eagles a Super Bowl.

You should revel in it. They’ll hang a series of humiliations on 7-4 Michigan Thanksgiving weekend.

Posted on 9/12/26 at 10:58 pm to nola tiger lsu
Why? Because I posted my opinion on Ohio states performance
then said the SEC is probably better this year than the big 10 on a day when the two favorites in the conference both lost in week 2?

Texas will be 1
No they won’t. Not that I would object to it necessarily since again we haven’t played anyone really but we are #2 and average 65 points a game.
They are going to move us up to number 1, again I wouldn’t really object it it if they left us at 2, and put Texas at 1 due to beating OSU but that’s not what they’re going to do.

My point is it's silly to bring up the NFL when discussing college careers. It's a lazy argument
