Yep.
If you're asking about money beyond a free education when you weren't able to get on the field at your previous school, then you have an entitlement mentality, or think you're so good you won't have to work hard to "dominate" at the lower level. As if you're going to automatically make his locker room better merely by walking through the door.
Coach Jackson evidently wants to avoid those types of athletes, and I can't say I blame him.

I think it's a good way to at least provide baseline expectations and weed out guys who can't/won't follow simple rules. If you're getting players who do all of that, they clearly want to be at PVAM, which is a great start when you're trying to build a culture somewhere.

What's also funny is even having NIL in the first place for a SWAC school in a town of 8k people.
Like what value does the endorsement of best player on PVAM even bring?
For big time programs, they are making money hand over fist between TV deals, conference payouts, etc etc. It makes sense for the athletes to be able to tap in to that.
For a PVAM player? The school is probably losing money maintaining a football program.
I guess if you're a local titan of industry, ponying up 50k a year to pay for a handful of players gets you in pretty good with the admin, so maybe you could see some return there, but otherwise idk.

Just like in Baton Rouge every local business or big time booster that contributes to LSU contributes to Southern although much less… I’m sure the same applies in the Houston area for TSU and Prairie View…
