Frustrating end to the half.

ETA: Also, the Rockets can't hit a three today (1 for 13 in the first half).

These refs have been horrible, both ways.

Rockets can't hit a 3, or really anything but a lay-up, and these refs are horrible. Either they are calling phantom fouls that are very ticky tack, or they are completely ignoring obvious calls.

No consistency.

I agree...however you guys have benefitted more from it as evident by the free throw totals.

Not true. The Rockets are going to get more free throws because their whole game is getting to the rim whether in the half-court or on fast breaks.

The Blazers shoot jumpers, so they are going to get fouled much less.

bullshite call on Hamilton when he made a basket that they waved off. bullshite no call on Jeremy Lin's layup right at the end. bullshite no-call when the Blazers should have had a shot clock violation that resulted in a 3.

That's just 3 calls off the top of my head that directly resulted in points being awarded when they shouldn't have or points not given when they should have been.

That is true in theory. You can't tell me that Harden should get a call just because a defender chooses to block his way to the rim so he flops and tosses the ball up though. That's what is looks like when watching Harden play as an opposing fan or someone without a horse in the race

It seemed like the technical called on McHale was bogus, as well.

That being said, the Rockets are losing because of their play (as you've said).

They're also in it because of Blazer turnovers.

Another call I just remembered is Leonard sticking his hip out on defense and they called a charge on Harden and waved off the basket.

Another bad call taking points off the board.

Most of the calls Harden gets are legit. He definitely sells the contact. But they are fouls.

Sometimes they are questionable. But the vast majority are legit.

He holds his arms out and defenders can't help themselves and swipe at the ball and miss and hit his arms.

I disagree. I'm pretty sure every ref in the NBA gives Harden the benefit of the doubt in every game.
