Kid is a stud! He went for 252 and 3tds vs OU this past weekend. I know OU is bad defensively, but damn that’s still impressive.

CEO better stop slowing playing our home state talent.

He’s good but not Marshall Faulk good. I’m sure Miles is thrilled to have him and I’m sure Pooka is thrilled to have Miles. Miles will build the entire offense around him.

A lot of people missed on Marshall Faulk not just LSU. Good for Pooka.

He was a major grade risk. Why do you think he went to Kansas? They could take a chance on signing him because he immediately becomes the most talented player in the class if he makes it.

Home state talent should stop dicking around in the classroom so they don't end up at Kansas.

This is where I do think Miles will effect our recruiting. He's not gonna get the top-10 LA kids...but the 11-20 LA kids that we've always been able to slow play and fall back on if we miss on the top kids might not be available now. Our staff will have to make quicker evaluations and decisions.

There is no argument here that Etienne turned out to be a huge loss. I don’t blame CEO for this one. Miles screwed the pooch here.

It pissed Etienne off that he didn’t hear from LSU’s headman. Clemson had just won the NC, so we loss our shot at him when Clemson showed up.

Pooka is all on CEO. Kid had been tearing up LA football all year. Yea, he was a grade risk, but that’s just part of how this recruiting game is played. CEO never showed Pooka the interest he show Emery, not even in the end.

To some extent, I feel bad for Pooka. CLM will run him into the ground.

It was pretty wide known he would have to make a stop at Junior College so go ask Kansas admissions how he made it, I mean they are in the top tier of universities or whatever Les called it during the press conference.

It's all on Pooka. If he wasn't a risk, he could be playing at any number of schools not named Kansas. Had that happened then you could blame O.

There is only person at fault here.

People passed on Faulk because of off the field issues. Which he has said is probably the best thing to happen to him.

Because he was so far from those bad influence in NOLA (implied gang and drug affiliated friends) he was able to effectively reset his life putting those things at arms length and then behind him.

At least that is my recollection of his situation.

Pooka just didn't have the size people want now. Both are 5-10 but Faulk is 210, Williams is 170. I wish LSU had been able to get him.
