Dude it's for breast cancer. Does it really bother you enough that you'd rather there be less money devoted to something that kills millions of women per year?

Money for cancer >>> your bullshite preferences

Why can't we have a prostate cancer awareness month?

That is why I find it hard to support breast cancer awareness. Any form of cancer is horrible, but more men will be affected by prostate cancer than women. Why then is it never discussed? 1 in every 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. 1 in every 36 men will die of prostate cancer. It is both more prevalent and more likely to result in death, but men suck at coming up with catch phrases like "SAve the Ta-Tas" and every one loves boobies...

It's so much overkill though that pretty soon there's going to be backlash and people will start rooting FOR breast cancer.

Damn dude. You have bought into the media hype. The total is less than 400,000 per year worldwide.

Fyi,

Breast Cancer - 42,000 a year with nearly 213,000 cases a year.

Lung Cancer - “More than 72,000 women nationwide are expected to die of lung cancer this year, according to the American Cancer Society with 82,000 cases.

Breast cancer has gained immeasurably in being able to treat while lung cancer has not.

It's still CANCER. If you think it should be some other type of cancer besides breast cancer that's fine, but ragging on them for helping ANY cause is pretty low.

40,000 people is still a hell of a lot of people and I don't think wearing pink is THAT big of a deal.

Like I said, one week was fine. But how about a week for each cancer? Why breast cancer and no other?
