watching nd/bc and notice an empty stadium has crowd noise. Is this from abc or at the stadium. Haven't watched a lot of cfb but I haven't heard this much piped crowd noise.

It should be prohibited under normal circumstances but it’s 2020.

I do. I much prefer the sounds from the field rather than the artificial noise from speakers which I equate to sitcom laugh tracks.

It's boring to me if there is no crowd noise at all. A live crowd is obviously preferable; it's part of what made the Notre Dame-Clemson game such a great game to watch. College football is all about passion, and the crowd is a big part of that. A silent stadium is just like a practice scrimmage, and they're always boring.

I’m not sure why people care? They barked about it in the premier league too. It’s super boring with no sound...
