I would at least like to know why there was no explanation as to why the PI flag was picked up?

That the refs missed three calls in one play. It is still offsetting actually. So the person who said the penalty should be marked against Dez is wrong. Offsetting was the correct call there

Fact: it was Pi
fact: it was hands to the face
fact: dez should have been called for penalty
All still equals offsetting penalties. Hardly a fix

What the frick? The defender is allowed to run after the receiver
Not through the defender while not playing the ball.

So they should've replayed the down?
Posted on 1/4/15 at 6:59 pm to lsupride87
I don't think this is correct..

was called PI and it was PI. That flag was picked up. Why? Hands to face was not called. Maybe it should have been -so should have O Holding later on Dallas. Not the point though.
Dez Bryant's penalty was a dead ball foul - that gets walked off regardless of the above.

if you have offsetting live ball fouls and then a dead ball foul , the dead ball foul is the only thing marked off. Read a rule book sometime

Offsetting penalties still highly benefits Detroit there

quote:Def would help. i am simply arguing the fix is in shitheads. Dallas had more penalties than Detroit. The refs also called a huge offensive PI that was shite in the first against the cowboys. On the most controversial call against Detroit, they actually comitted a penalty that wasnt called

Good thing you aren't a ref. The refs discussed the play and got it correct.
The ball hit the player in the back, before he face guarded ( Which I think is a stupid rule anyway, the object is to prevent a completion so face guarding should be legal ) so the interference call was bogus. Ball hits back, player then face guards.
Good thing you guys aren't refs.

So do you think a player should be able to run off the sideline and argue with an official with no penalty??
