Jason Garrett saw the play right in front of him. he said it was clearly not DPI.

So you think he would have said anything else?? Like the refs blew that call.......

Garrett is a call it like he sees it guy. the other 3 refs who right there by the play saw it the same way. the only guy who saw it as DPI was 50 yards away. that is why it was overturned.

right there in another zip code. he was overruled by 3 other refs. guy who tossed the flag ran in from way back…young ref trying to make a name for himself. Morreli should not have announced it that fast as he admitted later in the press conf. HOWEVER, the most important thing is they GOT IT RIGHT. If Garrett himself and three other refs closer tot he play saw it clean IT WAS CLEAN. not to mention Dez had an even better view of the whole thing.

like stomping on a injured player while he's on the ground? putting all your weight on him and pushing off without ever even looking down to see who it is?

I think you missed the part where I don’t care about this game at all. No dog in the fight. So certainly no tears coming from me

However, you bringing up something from another game to excuse your player from this game is hilariously counter-productive.

What does Garrett hav eto do with anything... Is he a ref now????

So that gave him the right to go onto the Field without his helmet and start screaming at the refs??? NO. THAT should have been a 15 yd unsportsman penalty.. But that's right the NFL were overlooking that so the Cowboys had a better shot at winning...

Awesome.

And the one PI I can recall inside the 20 was an easy, obvious call. Can't think of the other one at the moment.

That call was NOT worse than the play the Lions got burned on
The one with the Lions players grabbing the Cowboy's player's facemask while the ball is in the air?

Yup that one... They missed that as well... But they announced on the field that it was defensive PI and then picked the flag up... Very sketchy to me... Just looked fixed at THAT time of the game... So even if they decide it wasn't PI they should have flagged Bryant for coming on the field...It should have been a 1st down for Detroit......

The sissy Detroit coaches not going for it on 4th and 1 were bailed out by the refs because nobody is talking about that loser decision.

The fact that they threw the flag against Dallas but didn't against Detroit for what you acknowledged was missed would suggest that the refs actually favored Detroit more on that play since they weren't even flagged in the 1st place. They were more harsh on Dallas, but got it right in the end with both being no calls.

Now I agree that they should have gone for it, But as a coach you gotta trust your punter in that situation right?????

Why would you trust your punter more than your offense?

Uh, the entire field is only 53 yds wide. The guy was no where near that far. And who cares, if he had an angle that saw a defenders hands on the receiver while face guarding, then so be it.

They didn't clear up the rules for him, they made him say he didnt' see something that made him throw a flag.

Games aren't rigged, but if you believe calls aren't influenced whenever possible, you are simply opposite of smart.

Well if he had gotten off a decent punt he could have pinned dDallas a lot farther back than if they went for it and failed....... But that backfired... 9 times out of ten he kicks that ball inside the 20. And you and I have both followed football for a longtime and YES I didn't really care who won. I just hated to see that with the game on the line with the NFL KNOWING that a Dallas win creates a ratings bonanza with them going to GB the next week.. Just looked fishy to me,,, AND I wouldn't put it past the NFL to try and get what they want.....RATINGS. At any teams cost.

So why in the holy hell call a questionable hold that takes away a Dallas TD late in the third that put them all the way back to the 15 yard line?

ETA: I know you will dodge this question like THE YOUNG PUNK you ARE

If the refs dont call that nobody mentions it. ZERO. So why take away a TD and put them on the 15 yard line if they dont have to? Seems pretty crazy for a rigged game

Ratings are the only reason the Saints won a Superbowl. the NFL wanted their sob story hollywood script super bowl following the Hurricane. Worst black eye in the history of the NFL. What happened yesterday was cooler heads prevailing and the call being MADE RIGHT regardless of how it made them look. I actually have some renewed hope in the NFL now. If we could only stop the domestic volence from happening I will be back all the way.
