Say what you want but THAT call changed the mojo of the game in Dallas" favor.. It was a horrible cal.. Something YOU will not admit to.

You realize that Detroit had ONE penalty up till the 4th quarter right??? Then they finish with 9.....
ETA: 3 of Detroit's penalties in the 4th were procedural. 5 out of 8 of Detroit's penalties were procedural pre-snap penalties

Typical. NFL has a vested interest in Dallas winning.
They must have had an interest in Carolina as well. I never saw so many flagrant holding calls missed as in that game.
I don't trust and professional sports to be called with integrity.

But if you flip the teams....Theres NO WAY they pick up the flag in that situation....
Bottom line is that it looked real BAD as far as what I have been saying... Face it. The NFL looks at ratings.. Dallas @ GB looks way more appealing than Detroit @ Seattle and Carolina @ GB....

My other question is...how is Dez Bryant allowed to come on the field and argue the call with the refs?
With his helmet off no less.

I really don't care who won this game.
Either Suh or Romo were going to lose which is win-win for me.
However, if I was a Lions fan I'd be much more pissed off that Dez Bryant wasn't flagged for running helmetless onto the field and screaming at an official.
That is such a blatant dead ball penalty its not funny. Its not like the referee didn't see him, they talked to him and told him to go back on the sideline. That was pretty absurd
ETA:
Can't you be fined for that? Lets see if they fine him thus admitting he should have been penalized.

But the NFL will find a way to crawfish out of this... AGAIN. DALLAS @ GB IS the matchup they wanted all along....

Gerry Austin brought up a point on M&M this morning that he didn't it shouldn't have been called because TE's body was still moving away from ball with his forward motion, he wasn't coming to the ball.
My rebuttal is that isn't EVERY WR who makes a play on the ball on those type of throws just slowing their forward momentum enough to get to the ball and not actually changing their directions mid stride or jump!?

The first contact on that play was by the WR, grabbing the defenders face mask.
Also, the worst call of the game was the Williams pick/PI in the first half. Awful call. But the Cowboys scored on the very next play. Guess good teams can overcome bad calls.

That call was NOT worse than the play the Lions got burned on.... Sorry dude... This is ALL about ratings and Dallas @ GB is a bigger ratings type game....

you are so mad. you have no clue what you are talking about. Jason Garrett saw the play right in front of him. he said it was clearly not DPI.

He is arguing to argue, he knows that it wasn't fixed in his heart.
His main issue is he has an irrational hate for Dallas. He can not bring himself to the reality that Dallas won and now moves on to Green Bay.

I think there is a deeper psychological problem at play. self loathing, disappointment in his own life, and likely feelings of inadequacy.

like stomping on a injured player while he's on the ground? putting all your weight on him and pushing off without ever even looking down to see who it is?

Detroit could have gone for it after that play, instead they punted and totally imploded.
Was the call bad? I don't know, petigrew had his hand on Hitchens facemask. So it could have been offsetting.
Regardless of a good/bad call Detroit collapsed afterwards. There was still time in the game, they still had the ball with the chance to win at the end. But they didn't. They got beat.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
Shouldn't have overturned the penalty. Still could have stopped Dallas and scored on the last drive.
NFL fans mad.
