I understand your position. I think what happened is unprecedented in professional golf, even competitive amateur golf. I think precedent has now been set to allow players to continue to play after signing an incorrect card because of a rules question. The only thing I disagree with is your notion that this is like a WWE event. That's silly.

It seems like that, but remember he was in the final group with McIlroy in 2011 during Rory's 80, and he couldn't pull that one off. He's got another great chance today.

I said last night that I have a hunch that Tiger, with all the issues he's had this week, still hasn't gotten the most out of his play yet. I think this is the major he finally wins from behind.

I want to see Tiger shoot the low score, and then refuse to accept the title due to the questions surrounding the appropriate penalties. He will have shown himself to be the best golfer, and he will shut the whiners up. Then we can see who among the Tiger haters was truthful about their claims to stop hating Tiger if he "does the right thing." And reading the comments of the sportswriters who have been critical of Tiger will also provide for some comic relief.
