So is the solution to bring Love off the bench? Have his patterns mirror Bogut?(not that Bogut is a slouch) Love is a guy who needs touches obviiously, but he can give 30...you've got to find a way to exploit his talents.additionally, is JR having a confidence problem?

I'd like to see LeBron playing 5 again at this point with RJ Smith Shumpert Kyrie or Delly out there with him...basically throw any lineup that gives you some traction.

Well I'll have to tell the researchers and companies that have spent decades creating personality tests and studying team dynamics that some uninformed person says that they can't be measured.
I guarantee they already know that many things and a full scope can't be measured.

Well they can measure personality. Some error (full scope) doesn't make it invalid. Besides from a practical standpoint (outcomes) what is important is already measured.

I liked the idea behind the Lebron@5 that CLE did to try to counter the Death Lineup. However, I would tweak it more, and just run Kyrie/Smith/Shump/Love/Bron. Just let Love hide out on Barnes, and let Bron play Dray.
In a perfect world, I wouldn't have to run out Smith&Shump, just one of the two, but the Cavs don't actually have a true 3-n-D guy. That's a critical chess piece that they lack.

Yeah I posted that lineup earlier and got criticized for it...LeBron on Dray is critical. He can nullify Draymond and Love on Barnes isn't bad plus Love can run him a little

Also to his credit...LeBron in response to Phil "

Yeah, CLE has no "magic" lineup to cure all of their ills vs. GSW. They are talented, but poorly constructed. Not having the 3-n-D guy to make 4-out sets work & not be a defensive sieve is whats really biting them. Mozgov going back in time would be good too.

and just run Kyrie/Smith/Shump/Love/Bron

And watch the Warriors score 130.

Has anything else worked? They are fatally flawed team, Shump and Mozgov regressed from last years finals, who both played a decent part.

nobody can ever be "Michael Jordan" again

but you can take over a game in the 4th quarter.

you can make a play with the game on the line.

Detroit with Isiah: Bird steals the ball.

MJ is most famous for hitting a jumper to beat Atlanta and Mookie Blaylock, Dikembe Mutombo Craig Ehlo and Dominique Wilkins

Jerry West steals the ball in the open court and goes in for an uncontested layup, and the Wilt/West/Goodrich Lakers win game 7 over the Bulls.

West, Larry and MJ all won the big game.

I think of West winning that game, but Wilt and Goodrich both had 20 points. They were major contributors. West was the star, and made the star-play.

I did not say otherwise.

MJ was better in one way. He was clutch.

LeBron has disappeared in some 4th quarters.

I would take several hall of fame players over Lebron for a 4th quarter run.

Guys who would eat your lunch. Cousy. Rick Barry. Jerry Sloan. Jerry West. LeBron could beat them all up, but I would take any of them over LeBron with 2 minutes to go in game 7. Sloans Bulls lost to West, but the Bulls shot .93 from FT line. all the guys I named were premier FT shooters. MJ won games at the FT line. Clutch.

Exactly.

Except for that entire generation of 25-45 year olds...and the whole Nike thing and most famous man on planet.

Like shoes and commercials and the first megastar commercial athlete...and spreading the game overseas...and...

Well winning every Finals he ever made...so there's that...never losing when it mattered.

WGN owes Jordan a huge paycheck...because it was a regional channel until Jordan came to the Bulls as a rookie and then everyone was requesting it on their cable channel.

Does it matter that LeBron has played multiple teams better than the best team MJ played in the finals.

It's great to know MJ was such an amazing competitor that it only really mattered 6 times in his whole career

-63 points against one of the GOAT Celtics teams in his second season (still a playoff recors)
-Game 1 against the Blazers, 6 3's, shutting down Clyde
-The Flu Game
-The Final Shot against the Jazz
-Finishing with 13 straight made shots and a hand-switch layup to beat Magic's Lakers in Finals Game 2

That's 5 more famous moments just in the playoffs

Hell the NBA itself in 2006 voted his last shot against the Jazz as the #1 greatest playoff moment of all time, ever, for anyone

Does it matter that Jordan had much, much stiffer competition in the east including 2 dynasties in the Celtics and Pistons?

Does it matter that he swept the two-time defending Champ Bad Boy Pistons who created an entire hard fouling defense "The Jordan Rules" specifically to stop him?

Am I the only who's going to point out Murumbo and Nique never played togeher?

That any winning shot against ATL is low on the list compared to The Shot, any and all Bulls-Knicks series, The Shrug, Switching Hands Mid Air, The Flu game, the Final Shot, etc.?

He was a force of nature, let's not belittle him now.
