But he specifically called out the dirty money being why he was against it,

Selective moral outrage is funny.

This is what Rory said shel, seems pretty damn logical
“
Doesn’t sound like he really went in on the blood money angle to me
“
quote:
I understand the point of view of those families. I think everything that’s happening with this new tour, it legitimises their place in the world.
“I’ve spent a lot of time in the Middle East and the vast majority of people I’ve met there are very nice. But there’s bad people everywhere.
“The bad people that came from that part of the world did some absolutely horrendous things. So I appreciate where these families are coming from.
“In this day and age, everything is just so intertwined.
“It’s hard to separate sport from politics and dirty money from clean money.
“I have friends who lost people in 9/11 and it’s a really tragic thing. So I can empathise with those families and I certainly understand their concerns and frustrations with it all.”b]

The moment Rory swings a club again on the PGA tour backed by Saudi money, he will 100% look foolish.
He already looks foolish. I can't blame a guy for standing up for what he believes regardless of what I think about it. The PGA Tour fricked him over for sure.

Trip Eisenaur looks like he just left HappyHour at Hooters. Some red eyes on him.

Wouldn’t winning have been LIv being extremely successful, and thus taking over the PGA and having full control?
LIV made their point and shot their shot. Seems like they shot it pretty well if you look at it objectively. What the PGA Tour pulled out of their asses with the new format and larger purses was totally reactionary to the threat of stealing top talent from the tour. Now you have this and somehow Monahan being the CEO, but Nassir sitting as Chairman of the Board is somehow LIV not winning or forcing the PGA's hand? Come the frick On

You missed the joke. The PGA side called it blood money.

Eamon Lynch won’t have a job tomorrow. He is ripping Saudi’s, PGA Tour and Monahan.

The golf channel still leaning hard. Over and over we are reminded that Monahan is still the CEO. But not once do they want to remind the audience that the PGA has a Saudi sitting on the board as Chairman. Funny how that keeps happening.

As a gay man Eamon has a pretty solid reasoning for hating the Saudi’s running golf funding

Sure, but he also said more than that.
He goes out of his way to say there are bad people in Saudi Arabia that did some really bad things then in the same discussion is saying the guys who took the money made their bed and now they have to lie in it. That's a pretty darn heavy insinuation that he's morally against it...how is it NOT?

So the new chairman of the board is a Saudi, Do you think they will want to grant access to a Gay reporter that openly criticizes the new tour? Hope he has a popular podcast.

Because he followed it up with a direct statement saying it’s hard to separate dirty and clean money in sports. That’s a direct statement clarifying that money is money
To your point, Phil himself even said the saudis are “some bad scary people”

No, that's a statement you only make when you think someone fricks up. And his only reasons and explanations were to go into detail about bad shite Saudi people did, so it can't be stated that it was just for not sticking with the PGA. Rory made it painfully obvious IMO calling out what bad Saudi people did and in the same comment then stating that the Liv bros made their bed and have to lie in it. What else is he possibly referencing, I mean he told you what he was referencing
Posted on 6/6/23 at 4:12 pm to shel311
He also directly refutes the idea and premise of blood money, by directly stating clean and dirty money can’t be separated in sports. He couldn’t have made it more clear he isn’t buying in to the “blood money” argument.
He didn’t act like brandel and pretend he or anyone else is clean or dirty Saudi money, and in fact infers the direct opposite
His “made their bed comments, is clearly referring to the negative attention LIv players were getting from certain people such as the 9/11 orgs. That’s easy to follow
