PGA with the rainbow over the final green when he finished. Was sapposed to be his late father looking down on him for his first major win.

So 18 Majors represented in this feature group and they are like 7 or 8 over par combined

Him, Padraig and tiger have all won the PGA before.

was Tiger in the field for that win? its not really a major unless tiger was in the field

I think it was right before Tiger, so yes it doesn't count. Let me look it up.

It was 1997, same year Tiger blew away the field at Augusta. Yea, that shite counts.

he's flirting with the projected cut # now.

Did you hear, see the Daly interview on DPS. He said he played with Tiger in some type of pro-am in Arkanasas when Tiger was 13. Daly said he shot a 68, Tiger shot 72. I didn't know Daly has been sober for almost 2 years. Good interview.

Well he is now on his fourth swing since coming on tour
If you look at his stats when he goes through swing changes, he doesn't exactly tear it up for about the first 2 years with each swing. Then he starts winning. He's been with Foley a year, but has been injured and had the scandal. So you can probably push the expectations back a year.
He keeps saying "it's a process" for a reason. Because it is. He'll never dominate like he did. It's unbelievable he did that in the first place. No one had ever done that, save for Bobby Jones and Byron Nelson. But that was a far different time. Fields are deeper than they ever have been. Guys that were probably 50th on the money list in the 70's wouldn't be on tour now.
He'll start winning again. Not at the insane 23% clip he had been reeling off, but he'll win. This is a drastic change in his swing. There's certain things I like in the Foley/Plummer and Bennett move. Once he finally trusts it in competition, he'll be fine. He still has some Haney tendencies under the gun, hence the 2 way miss.
And people can show all the stats they want of what he did under Haney, going to him was the biggest mistake of his career. His putting saved him under Haney. Now that he's not making as many 15 footers, his scores have suffered. But there is a reason that Haney teaches nobody. His methods are awful

dont' worry he'll shoot 61 tomorrow and be bee bopping, scit scatting and fist pumping all over that place!

I totally agree with this. Not a fan of haney

He also only played tournaments that fitted his game, except the majors. Heard this over and over during his domination on the tour. But you still have to execute.

He'll be way over the cut line at the end of the day. He's 65th right now and half of the field hasn't teed off.
