Peter King, a Sports Illustrated senior writer for 29 years and the founder of the popular NFL website The MMQB, will be leaving SI at the end of the month.

"When Sports Illustrated was good enough to allow me to start The MMQB five years ago, I wanted to introduce a group of promising young journalists to the SI audience and give them a chance to develop into prominent voices on the pro football scene,” King says. “We're fortunate now that Jenny Vrentas, Robert Klemko, Andy Benoit, Albert Breer, Conor Orr, Jonathan Jones, Tim Rohan, Jacob Feldman and Kalyn Kahler—average age: 30—have grown into an excellent team, with a group of superb editors. It's time for them to have the opportunities I've had over the years, and to do some of the stories and projects I've done that they're more than ready to do. They're ready.

I hope there’s a #metoo story about to break on him. I can’t put my finger on why exactly, I just have always hated him. And I tend to like most sports guys. Hell, I even like Moscona.

Welcome aboard, Peter King

It’s not an easy day for Peter King, who has decided to end his 29-year run at Sports Illustrated. But it’s a pretty good day here at NBC Sports, because Peter has decided to join the effort to cover pro football.

This means that Peter’s popular, informative, and comprehensive Monday morning column will appear here, at NBCSports.com, starting in July. It’s a football tour de force, the culmination of hours and hours of phone calls and elbow grease, and it’s the first thing I read every Monday morning — typically providing the basis for 3-4 or more blurbs at PFT.

SI forced him out just like the Mariners did with Ichiro. This is him saving face. He is such an arrogant blow hard.

Is he retiring to Brett Favre's farm with a grand latte in his left hand and Favre's dick pics in his right hand?

I will answer your question cupcake.

I fricking hate any who advocate taking away any constitutional right we have as citizens. I especially hate some UMass liberal snowflake putting his liberal garbage in his articles. Which he always does.

Let me tell you something you little POS. Your fricking lifestyle ain’t flying for most of this country.

You better gtfo the tracks before we run you over you fricking sky screamer.
