With the Reggie Bush violations and Joe Mcknight violations and now he just ups and leaves when the ruling is about to hit. I love it. Can only hope the same thing happens to the tide in a few years.

the obsession with Pete Carrol and USC on this board is nothing short of creepy

Funny how no one is complaining about Sark/Washington eh?

i don't think he had anything to do with the bush and mcnight things although it is certainly possible he did and turned his head. i'm still having trouble thinking that mcnight did anything wrong.

You can say what you want about Saban but I think he runs a pretty clean program. I know the X factor is Bryant Jr. and the Bama Mafia but Saban is too much of a control freak to let his hard work be compromised by shady alumni and boosters.

Considering it seems to be a multi-sport issue at USC, I doubt Pete Carroll had much to do with it, but he sure as hell wants to get out of California as quickly as possible.

I'll go back to the night before his in-home with McKnight. Someone had posted here how strange it seemed with how relaxed and unstressed he and his entourage looked at the restaurant they were dining- he worked there.
They knew they had him...what they had to give him/his HS coach to get him, I don't know.

Another 03 trophy may come to Baton Rouge care of the three stooges. Think Fowler had inside information.

Is there some kind of like, other than opinion that some kind of NCAA ruling is coming down? ANythign new, other than the yearly yahoo-type updates that the NCAA is almost done?
The NCAA is no closer now than they were three years ago.

This has nothing to do with sanctions. There won't be any.
This is all about a slow boil that finally came to a head between Garrett and Carroll.
Everyone here, who know absolutely nothing about what happens within our program, that believes that nonsense is just a hater.

Why would it happen to the Tide? Did Nick Saban leave LSU in a cloud of sanctions?
a-hole or whatever, NIck Saban has always seemed to run pretty clean programs.
Terrible comparison, IMO.

What I do know is that it's not about the money.
It may be a combination of factors, with money being significantly down the list.
I feel the media will do everything possible to keep USC in the forefront, but they need to have a very good season next year.
As mismanaged as LSU has been, the Trojans are in a more precarious position.
