46. Jennings
- My hometown! But a bit underrated if I say so myself. Probably has to do with the head coach Rusty Phelps. Terrible play called imo, and has wasted talent year after year.

Why is Rummel so low?
It’ll be a 3 horse race in the Catholic league between JC, BM, & Rummel.

I was at Shaw when Hank was there and won the Championship. That era of Shaw football was badass.

Good point. Time for STM to step up and play the big boys.
It is absolutely time for STM to step into Division 1.

Remember when Acadiana, Barbe, STM, Carencro and Sulphur were all in the same district.

Why Ponchatoula is up there is beyond ridiculous....they will choke, Mandeville is a better coached team and since I live by it, in pretty good physical shape.
What I hate is having Newman in there. It used to be they were routinely in a weak district where they really were the only team that could put together 2 strings. When they venture out and play outside their district against other quality private schools they get beat.

This never happened
STM has been in 4A since 1995. Never in 5A

They’ve had two years in 5A… one ended in a semifinal against Acadiana

It’s all about the recruiting stars…

Laying low since Catholic BR was investigated.

The other ended at home in the quarterfinals against WM. STM was up 21-0 in the 1st quarter before WM woke up.

Nice to see us at #4. Hopefully we can live up to the hype and finish the job we should've finished in 2014.

Evangel too is struggling to even field a team.
Have you been to that garbage dump of a school lately? It's in crap shape. Doubt they'll be around in five years.

That's what happens when the Monroe City Schools and Ouachita junior highs become Neville feeder schools instead of WM feeders.

I wonder if in the future Neville and WM will only have dominant runs when the other is down

With Sterlington keeping their better kids, then yes. I will say that WM is dangerously underrated here on this list. They're loaded on both lines and their defense is Top 5 in the state. If Federico is as good as everyone says, and he's definitely an athlete, then WM will be good to go. Honestly, it's the "playmaker" type that they haven't recruited well lately. Neville has those guys in spades.
