I don't know why the frick yall are concerned about this. The #4 team could very well be much tougher than the #3 team. If you're in the playoffs, you're in the playoffs. There's too few seeds for it to really matter where your position is.

Penn State doesn't have any good players. Franklin has been meh as a recruiter. Very unathletic team with no playmakers on either side of the ball.

Well they've had a pretty average offense all year while having a great defense. They also came off losing their biggest game of the season the week before and having their playoffs hopes dashed, so honesty this isn't all that surprising. But at the end of the day, they won and finished the year 10-2 with a chance to win a major bowl game. I'd still say PSU and OSU are both very good teams and that all team don't play their absolute best each week.

Do you not see the difference between playing Utah and then Clemson/OSU vs Clemson and then OSU?

Because we are the best team in the country and we have a better resume. They have played nobody good offensively. We want to be #1 because we should be.

They saw what Clemson did to their daddy earlier this year and it fricking terrifies them.

Nobody wants to play Clemson they have the best team and coaching staff.
The committee knows they will embarrass OSU and does bot want another snoozer of a semifinal. Also the BIG champion has been beaten 38-0 and 31-0 in the semifinals before and nobody wants that again.
They will keep OSU #1 unless LSU blows UGA out.
Then they will have no choice. They might then drop Clemson to #4 and justify it because of their week schedule.
