I'm going with Defunded, I am a fan of Irad Ortiz, Jr. If not, Cyberknife or Proxy. If you are playing an exotic, I think White Abarrio and Last Samurai could be in the mix. Tyler Gaffilione rides hard to the end of every race -- others like John Velasquez and Mike Smith pull back once they realize their horse can't win.

(Edit -- I know Johnny V isn't riding today, just using him as an example.)

I have Lady Speightspere in that race. Although I think you may be right about Speaking Scout, last three races were 1 1/8 M, Win, Place, Win respectively. Surprised the ML is 8-1.

Proxy has been my guy since he was on the derby trail. I loved his mother so he’s my pick.

I’m not watching the southwest

Maybe the cox stonestreet horse will shock but I just can’t watch baffert win again.

I just found this thread as they were loading up. Went back to look at him and

A) man, I love graham motion

B) mr. Speaker has one of my favorite pedigrees ever. I loved him when he was running and I’m sad he got stuck a year in Chile and didn’t get a fair start at stud. I’m glad he’s got a good one.

there really is only like 1 horse who continually closes, and it's proxy #1

this horse will get a great trip, he ikes track, should be making big run around the turn.

a lot of speed and horses who like to stay close to pace. some one has to close

this is only 2nd race on dirt, last was hooper, where 9 stalked a few lenghts off and drew clear

Art Collector and Riden with Biden.

I was betting long shots but skipped the longest shot on the KY Derby and missed out. Biden at 64:1 may take the sting out.

At least Arabian knight will have to win his derby for another trainer. Why did I make myself watch that?

We've seen this story before. Boss the horses at Oaklawn Park, and then in the Ky Derby no one will want to challenge him for the lead.
On another matter, what in the world is going on at Fair Grounds? Is it even a race meet?

fricking Churchill, that’s what. Accidentally killed the grass by using weed killer instead of fertilizer. They had a good card the day after Christmas, though.

Maybe Tim yakteen gets his derby win this year
