The game was tied. The most likely scenario there is a turnover and the lowest probability is that you lateral your way into a game winning score. I have watched football for 30+ years and I have never seen a team try that shite in a tie game.

Even if the throw is perfect and Mac catches it, what was he going to do with it? There's no one for him to lateral to because no one else was running that play. See no Pats player being within a mile of Chandler Jones after he mushed Mac into the desert.
