It would be an evenly matched game. I'd prefer playing someone else since we played tOSU a few years ago, but it would still be a nice game.

As was already said, they beat two teams Michigan failed to beat.

This game will be dominated by Ohio State unless Denard goes crazy which he hasn't done yet in Big Ten play. Ohio State lost to a power running team with probably the best O-line in the country and an All-American type running back.

Michigan is a poor man's Oregon and Ohio State dominated them last year on both sides of the ball. Look for the same to happen tomorrow.

I'm not nervous, I'm cautiously very optimistic that Ohio State will take care of business vs and inferior Michigan squad. Throw out the records, this Michigan Defense sucks and doesn't deserve to be 7-4.

I'm "cautiously optimisitc" too, but I've seen too many times over the last 35 years the team that's fovored loses. That said, I expect a great game and a Buckeye win. Again, take nothing granted.

How about the history of the past 6 years? Or the last 8 of 9 games?

Or Jim Tressel's record vs Rich Rod, or Michigan in general?

Those are stats you can point to. Jim Tressel has never lost to Michigan at home, ever. These Michigan players don't know how to beat Ohio State.

Ohio State is the veteran squad that knows how to win ball games like this, and that will be the difference. I'm so excited for the chance to demolish Michigan one more time and see Rich Rod bitch on the sidelines the entire game. Should be fun to see.

But all said, I'm still cautiously optimistic.

True, I think it was the 96 game OSU lost to a four loss UM team at the Shoe; you could hear a pin drop walking out of the stadium. OSU was undeafeated!!!!!! I went home and threw all my Buckeye gear in two large trash bags, brought them back in the house after we beat ASU in the Rose Bowl.

Alot of OSU fans are setting them selves up for a failure. They are talking alot like they did before the LSU game in 07.

No, because the comparison you made holds no water. Any logical tOSU fan knows we got lucky and backed in to the 07 NCG. I don't remember the majority of our fanbase thinking we were the shite and predicting a LSU arse beating.

Confident, absolutely not. We are not in a position to be confident. we don't do well against good defenses, ie Wisconsin and Iowa. And, LSU is much better than people might think.

However, with that said, I think it would be a close game, and for that reason I would like to see it happen. It would fun, with the two fan bases, I think it would be one great party.

Peej, from this thread alone, you've got quite the large head for Michigan.

I'd enjoy playing LSU. I'd prefer it not be in your backyard once again, but I thought the fans were great in NO.

Confidence wise? I'm not overly confident in our team this year, so it's not too high. It would be a good game that could go either way, IMHO.
