The NCAA won't but their flimsy argument. This will only make things much, much worse.

Of course this is news. Up to now, OSU has created the illusion of cooperation. Now, they are clearly and publicly hiding damning information behind a flimsy excuse.

If the NCAA wants to see it, I'm sure they can.

So no, it's not news that they wouldn't give emails from a students account to the AP.

You really are a troll.

Or they aren't obligated to give the leaches who want to continue digging more shite to throw to the wall and see what sticks? I'm sure they'll have no problem giving the NCAA any info they want, but they don't have to comply with AP requests for shite.

ETA: And FWIW this is common practice with OSU, they cite privacy concerns as a reason to not release info. But of course that isn't mentioned in the article.

This.

It won't do anything but piss them off, much like when USC stonewalled for a few years in hopes that the Reggie Bush case would go away.

All it did was make the NCAA expand the case to cover other sports, especially once the OJ Mayo stuff blew up in USC's faces.

Don't make this out to be a witch hunt. Your coach is a proven cheater and a recklessly dishonest man.

Of course they don't have to......but this is a terrible PR black-eye when OSU is already drowning in an ocean of deceit. This will cost OSU recruits and this is is more ammo for the NCAA come judgment day. This matters.

Where anywhere in that article did it say the NCAA was refused access?

Ok, thanks for playing.

Why give ESPN something else to make a headline out of?

You're really dumb or just love being a an Anti-Ohio State troll. I think it's the latter.

Did you take a whole jar of stupid pills this morning?

If the NCAA already has this info, there would be no point in denying the AP since it will eventually come out anyway.

If the NCAA has also been denied this info, OSU's hammering will make USC's punishment seem like a day at Disneyland.

Why would the NCAA release emails that would be illegal for them to do so?

that is so dumb. let the ncaa decide what it means and the repurcussions. reporters like bruce hooley and dispatch writers would turn it into a shitstorm like the completely false thadeus gibson and mo wells mother stories

It wouldn't be illegal. This is a desperate Ohio State smokescreen. If you think you have seen the worst buckeye skeletons in the closet so far - you haven't. The OSU brass are rearranging the cushions on the deck chairs of the Titanic right now.

You really think it would be legag for a university/NCAA to give email records of a student to the associated press?
