I am sure he got quite a few RAs, but other than his comments, I think this thread has been pretty neutral.

He was pretty much a top 10 running back before today on most people's lists, along with Spiller, Scott, Dwyer, Best, Royster, and a couple of other guys I am missing.

Watch his O-line tonight. Horrible.

Now go look up Youtube highlights of him in just about every game last year. He definitely *had* 1st round potential.

yeah, but seeing as how im not nor have i ever planned to be a stage actor, and nothing in that picture would lead one to beleive that, it just seems like a stupid thing to say

all of his good games came against terrible defensive teams. Against Cal and Oregon who were the only teams that really played solid run defense in the Pac-10 last year, he didn't do shite

the o-line was fricking terrible tonight, but he still looked much less explosive than last year

He had 17 touchdowns last year and 7.3 yards per carry. He is probably the biggest back to put up those kinds of numbers.

He looked awful today, and his actions have probably sealed his fate with the NCAA, the Pac 10, and Chip Kelly. His biggest weakness was always his off the field behavior.

Don't know if you guys saw this yet - from an article just posted on ESPN.

quote:

"I just apologize to anyone watching that," Blount said. "I just apologize to all of our fans and all of Boise's fans. That's something I shouldn't have done. I lost my head." Rumors even swirled afterward the Blount would be arrested, but Oregon sports information director Dave Williford said that talk was "absolutely false." "Our position is that we have full confidence in the NCAA that they're going to address that. As far as from a criminal standpoint there's nothing that I'm aware of that we're doing," Lt. Bryan Hagler of the Boise Police Department told The Associated Press.
